Inspires Women

Blessed be my brain

that I may conceive of my own power.

Blessed be my breast

that I may give sustenance to those I love,

Blessed be my womb

that I may create what I chose to create

Blessed be my knees

that I may bend so as not to break

Blessed be my feet

that I may walk in the path of my highest will

-- Robin Morgan

I listen to ...

and I hear the Power of Every woman,

Everywhere.

Then, I rejoice,

I hope,

I take heart.

---Elayne Clift

There's strength and then there's strength.............
A strong woman works out every day to keep her body in shape.........
but a woman of strength builds relationships to keep her soul in shape.

A strong woman isn't afraid of anything......... but a woman of strength shows courage in the midst of her fear.

A strong woman won't let anyone get the best of her..... but a woman of strength gives the best of herself to everyone.
A strong woman makes mistakes and avoids the same in the future........
A woman of strength realizes life's mistakes can also be unexpected
blessings.
A strong woman wears the look of confidence on her face........ A woman  of strength wears grace.
A strong woman has faith that she is strong enough for the
journey........ A woman of strength has faith that it is in the journey
she will become strong.

The circle of  life flows in me

sometimes crashing as tidal waves

sometimes misty as spring rain

The glow of my being

shines as the moon

waxing and waning

but ever present

even if my face does not show.

--Stazi

We ask forgiveness

of one another

woman to woman,

sister to sister.

We ask forgiveness

of one another,

as children of God,

as friend to friend.

Too many times

have we failed to stand

together in solidarity.

Too many times

have we judged one another,

condemning those things

we did not understand.

We ask forgiveness

for assuming we know

all there is to know

about each other.

for presuming to speak

for each other,

for defining,

confining,

claiming,

naming,

limiting,

labeling,

conditioning,

interpreting,

and consequently oppressing

each other
