In my lifetime

of many moons,

on the plains,

in the valleys,

in the forests,

I was a testament

to my very own being,

tasting of all that

I could in my Creator's

world

-my many adventures

not now lost to time,

they, this day,

the legacy of my sons

and daughters,

revived, brought back

to life, on their own,

gone out now to look

upon my many rivers,

my many bears,

my many dreams,

gone out now retracing

my old steps,

my visions

to renew.

"Life Is..."

Life is happening, love it.
Life is love, feel it.
Life is spirit, nurture it.
Life is laughter, enjoy it.
Life is happiness, strive for it.
Life is an opportunity, benefit from it.
Life is beauty, admire it.
Life is bliss, taste it.
Life is a dream, realize it.
Life is a challenge, meet it.
Life is a duty, complete it.
Life is a game, play it.
Life is a promise, fulfill it.
Life is sorrow, overcome it.
Life is a song, sing it.
Life is a struggle, accept it.
Life is a tragedy, confront it.
Life is an adventure, dare it.
Life is luck, make it.
Life is too precious, do not destroy it.
Life is people, protect it.
Life is life, just love it.

Thought Energy

by the Teachers of the Universal Mind,
through Jo Amidon

When you think or say negative statements, criticisms or judgments of others, this energy is sent to those others. It affects their personal energy and is felt by them, even though they may not be consciously aware of it. When this occurs, there is an effect within your own energy field. Imagine this as an energy barrier with small energy prickles going outward from your energy field. This is a protection device, and is created automatically. It is not something you consciously choose to do or are even aware of.

This barrier relaxes and is in a dormant state until you think of the person again, or are in their presence. At that time, it is reactivated. Depending upon the thoughts and feelings that you react with when this occurs, it can remain at the same level or can become stronger. This barrier affects interactions with this person. It can create a defensive type of energy, tension, emotional reactions or spirit level energy disturbances regardless
of your wish to not focus on those particular feelings you have had in the past, or your desire to move on to other things in your relationship with that person.

How do you heal this? Sending unconditional love to the person when they are thought of or when you are around them helps the situation and eases the intensity of the barrier. However, this is something created by you, by an inner feeling, judgment, insecurity or limitation, and it can only be healed or cleansed by self-exploration and inner work. This requires a willingness  to look within and be honest and open with yourself. Any time a judgment, negative opinion, expectation of another, or criticism
is present, it is a result of a part of yourself or an inner issue that has  need of resolving. Ask for help from guides, your higher self, and those you work with to gain clear understanding of yourself. Be open to the help that is given in response to your request. Be aware that the help given may not be exactly what you expected, for often what is needed may differ from what
is desired!

You can aid this process by taking time each day to go within and explore your own issues that create limitations. Many of the limitations you create are based on old feelings and reactions to old situations that are no longer relevant or needed. As long as they remain within, they affect the present self and those around you.

By working within at clearing and releasing inner issues and conflicts that affect your relationships with others, these energy barriers can be cleared and released. These can only be cleared through self-work. This clearing cannot be done for another nor done for you by another. This is an area of responsibility each must assume for himself or herself in creating a personal reality.

We would ask that you all release the past and expectations based upon the past. Work instead with yourselves, your own issues, limitations, beliefs and judgments. For only in this way can you fulfill that which all of you are on Earth are to accomplish. You have a shared purpose, a shared goal - that of planetary ascension. All of you knew that this would require much from you - much preparation, training, growth, change and releasing of third dimensional training, density, and limitations which have had power over you. You have chosen and been chosen to work together to aid one another in this adventure. For each of you, your most important responsibility in this phase of this mission is that of self-development, inner growth work and preparation. While much aid and assistance is given you through information, guidance and energy, much remains that can only be done by you individually. This type of personal work aids in clearing your personal energy. This creates a greater ability to do the remainder of your work. This creates greater clarity in your energy field to allow energy to be channeled through you to the planet and to others around you. This creates greater openness in your energy field to allow you to open to greater knowledge, information and clarity.

We ask you to love and honor yourselves, who you are, what you are. Accept  yourself. Then allow yourself freedom to change and grow as needed in the way most conducive to your highest goals and total well-being. Do this also for those around you. Know that those who work with each of you, such as your higher self, spirit guides, and those on other levels of reality, have
much greater insight and knowledge in these areas than what is possible on a third dimensional level.

Art by Francene Hart called Starry Nights

Music is Serenity of Strings by Eleanor Dimoff

We are creating our own experiences on Earth. We are not puppets or
victims.
We become who we believe we are. If we believe we are failures, we
will
fail. If we value and honor ourselves, we will succeed in every facet
of our
lives.

DEVELOPING AWE-FULLNESS

By Lloyd J. Thomas, Ph.D.

One of the psychological tragedies of adult American life is the
loss of the sense of awe.

When rescued recently from a recent blizzard in the Smokey
mountains, a teenage girl referred to the experience of being lost for
three days in the storm as "awesome." Referring to novel and exciting
experiences as "awesome" has become commonplace.  But the true meaning
of that word usually is lost.

To a young child (three and younger), every experience is new.  The
toddler is curious and awestruck by almost everything.  We can
accurately say that when we are children, we viewed the experiences of
being alive as "awesome."

Spiritual traditions in all the world's religions recognize the
personal value of viewing life with a "beginners mind."  Buddhist
mystics seek to experience every single moment of their lives as
"new."  Christian mystics call this attitude as viewing all of life as
"sacred."  Psychologists often refer to this approach as a "sense of
wonder."  Teenagers call it "awesome."  Life Coaches call in "joyful
living."

When we grow older however, this sense of wonder or sacredness of
each moment seems to diminish.  We begin to think of ourselves as
"cool" when we are surprised by nothing.  We take everything for
granted and go off seeking a new and more stimulating novelty.
Sometimes that search for excitement turns violent or fatal.

If we recaptured our child-like sense of awe at all life
experiences, we would not have to seek stimulation in the huge, the
dramatic, the best, the tragic, the ecstatic.  We could satisfy our
apparent need for novelty and excitement in our daily experiences.  We
can remember the sacredness of our being alive and the awesomeness of
Life itself.

Actually, all things in themselves, all places, all activities, all
of nature, all people are inherently sacred because they are creations
of Life as it evolves on this planet.  We still do not know how things
come into being and go out of being...an ongoing, repetitive cycle of
existence.

We can recover our attitude of awe...our sense of the sacred.  We
might begin by recalling moments that have been truly "awe inspiring"
for us: the birth of our baby, an unexpected healing, an event of
nature, a "peak experience."

The following inner exercises might be tried as a way of
re-developing our sense of the awesome in daily experience.

--------Before eating any food, think about how the food got to your
table.  How did it get to the store?  How many people were involved in
the making of the food?...farmers, harvesters, manufacturers,
processors, distributors, clerks, deliverers, cooks and servers.  Go
further back to the seed, soil and rain.  Consider it all and let your
mind say "wow" to all that went into your first mouthful of food.

--------Go outside on some clear night and gaze at the moon and
stars.  Realize that some of the light from those stars actually left
the star--surface millions and millions of years ago.  And you are
seeing it for the first time now.

--------Observe the beauty of a flower.  How did all that color,
shape and texture develop from that little seed or bulb?  What is the
force that resulted in such a beautiful and delicate creation?

--------Get to know your body and how it works.  It is truly amazing
and complex in its anatomy and function.

--------Hold a common object in your hand a tool, dish, pen, and
really look at it, thinking about all that went into its design,
production, material and original idea in the human mind.

--------Gaze upon your sleeping child.  Look into the face of
another human being and become aware of the marvel that is human life.

You get the idea.  The sense of wonder is a human attitude.  With
such an attitude, your experience of every moment of your life can
become joyful...truly awesome.
