Alone?

Today there are no mountains, the rivers and streams ground them to
 dust  aeons ago.
Their sand covers the dry ocean beds, now baked hard by an uncaring
 sun.
Mankind toiled to bring this about with their pollution, but the earth
 healed herself many times.
Where life is, death also walks; stars burst as ripening fruits and
 shed
 their seed into the universe.
It is my way with all things.

You grew, and no longer needed the cradle that safely held and
 comforted.
Even your bodies were discarded, when you understood the infinite
 possibilities.
Though you left in your millions; I am not alone for I went with you.
Seeing through your eyes and learning through each of you.
It is my way with all things.

Only one remained. Stubborn and proud; I was known to them, but they
 chose
not to hear me.
Their howling shrieks blow on hurricane winds, a soul crying more
 tears than
 there are specks of dust.
I listen to each vehement curse against my name; damning me as their
 cause
 of eternal loneliness.
I wait patiently; my arms held wide in welcome for when the final
 lesson is
 learned.
It is my way with all things.

After that I opened up a little, I have a lot of animals in my writing
 but
have never really tried to capture words from some of the guides I've
 bumped
into. This is what came into my mind when I thought along those lines.

The Eagle

Would you tame me? Better if you tried to cage the wind.
Forge the bars to hold the air and I may be impressed.
Would you slay me? I returned from the brink before.
I have learned to avoid mankind's traps.
Would you understand me? My eyes see all.
Look inside yourself, the answers lie hidden.

You seek the furthest horizon. It is there.
 My wings carried me further.
If you reached it what would you do then?
Where would your next challenge be?
Do you aspire? Or are you led?
 Could you follow me?

Rabbits fear me, my own chicks tell a different tale.
One is nurtured, the other prey; Which are you?
Ride the hurricane, soar higher than Heaven itself.
Then, if you fall, you will be caught.
Not in a snare, but by those who guide.
You dared, you tried, you flew.

 The Jaguar

Black as night, and shrouded by mystery's dark cloak I come into your
 dreams.
Sitting, silent, in the shadows of your mind; feeling your fear grow.
Why dread what is only misunderstood?
I walk beside you to guide and teach; not to slay then consume.

Would you talk with me?
When my mouth opens all you see is sharp white teeth.
Averting your gaze to glimpse my razoring claws.
You cower from one who protects and nurtures.

Be bold, be as one with me; let us pad the jungle together.
The hidden secrets are waiting to be found; not golden artefacts, but
 truths.
Walk amongst the night bound trees; listen to their whispers.
Hear as I, see as I, know as I.

 Orca

The ocean takes my tears, before man there were no seas.
I watched; and cried when you placed yourself apart.
What makes you better than I?
How many in your pods starve?
How many calves are without mothers?
Why do you turn on each other?

We are brothers, you deny the truth.
Yes, you have power; the knowledge to destroy the world is yours.
You despise me when I kill to feed and seek to slay me to protect your

 greed.

One day you will look and not see me.
My voice will not be heard.
All that remains is a tear filled sea.
