Granny Review: Brief and Scary
Granny is a well-done horror title where you will navigate a character chased by a granny wanting you to tell her one secret. Thus, she will do anything to prevent you from escaping. The title is really scary, with a thrilling atmosphere. Download it and try to survive for five nights.
Graphics and Sound
The graphics are rather simple, but still, they manage to create the needed mood when you suffer fear just as in your real life. The grandmother is designed in a simple way being as ugly as she could. Her face frightens even without any threats on her part. She will follow you with a baseball bat trying to catch and kill. The soundings are also thrilling.
The controls are responsive and quite easy. They allow you to react in a fast way, and that is what you need to avoid being killed. The control scheme requires you to tap and swipe. There is a round white button that can be applied for some options.
The gameplay is rather complicated. You are suggested to navigate a key character locked in a dark house. There isn't any story explaining the events, but you know that you should get out of that house until the fifth night is over. If you succeed, you win. Otherwise, you will be killed, and the game will be considered lost. The task is not easy to perform. Granny will roam around the house looking for you. While she falls asleep, you should take an opportunity and find the way out but do it quietly as you can in order not to awake her. If it happens, you should hide behind the doors or furniture.
The replayability is rather high, but it does not mean the title suggests plenty of hours to play. It means the challenge is rather complicated, and you will try to succeed endlessly. Though, you will be offered a lot of trials from the very beginning. You can adjust settings to your preferences to choose the appropriate level. The advertisement can be annoying, and there is no paid package to replace it. It should be mentioned that there are not any in-app purchases.
The title is very popular, and you should try it to form your own opinion. It is well done without lags. Be ready to play against rather smart artificial intellect navigating Granny, which appears exactly at the place where you are at the moment. The game is short, but it is a very decent release in the horror genre being quite scary.
